The Role
We are looking for a highly motivated and analytical go-getter who is passionate about being an early employee at a Series Seed stage startup. You will directly shape how we operate and scale in our current market, develop the strategic blueprint for how we expand our service to new markets, and champion how we improve our entire operation.
With our recent launch in the Bay Area, you'll be playing an integral role in defining how we operate today and in future markets. You'll be directly partnering with the founders and on-the-ground operations team to create the infrastructure for a thriving family sharing economy. This will be a transformational experience for you (and for us!) as we grow GatherMade into a category-defining company.
What You’ll Do
- Define and build out a scalable operating model. Develop the operational strategy for our first market and build out scalable processes to unlock our ability to serve more customers. You will define the blueprint for how we scale in new markets
- Manage the local marketplace. Partner with ****chef recruiting and customer growth teams to ensure the marketplace equilibrium is maintained as we scale
- Drive outcomes and metrics. Set and manage our marketplace’s KPIs with a path toward ownership of the market’s P&L
- Create the playbook for new market launches. Assess new markets and build our new market launch playbook for future markets, using the operational blueprint you create as a foundation
- Lead and manage an on-the-ground ops team. Lead and support on-the-ground operation managers to hit daily and weekly targets
- Be the go-to person for complex, strategic projects. Identify and lead critical strategic initiatives to improve and grow the business
